β€’ What is your mission when you create music?

It’s hard to say that I have a very specific mission, because making music to me is about discovering mostly. Mainly it’s about expressing emotions and exploring who I am as an artist. Of course I would have certain fields that interested me more than the others, which would be how to combine the eastern or Chinese influence in musical style into modern or even futuristic electronic music formats. I hope I would be able to blend all different things that I find inspirations from into whatever I am making and what I will be making.

β€’ How would you describe your work in three sentences?

My music is about exploring the Chinese identity and queer identity within the modern electronic music and club music framework. It is a mixture of different things from what I am inheriting, what I am identifying with and what the internet has been feeding me into. I wish my music would be relatable by people from different backgrounds and are generally excited about the futuristic sound and dare to explore the future in music and art in general.

β€’ What kind of emotion are you searching for in music?

It depends since I have mixtures of different feelings. For the moment it would be more about courage and excitement of fighting for your passions.

β€’ How the music of the future is going to sound? In what form is it going to be?Β

The music of the future will sound very homogeneous but also super diverse at the same time. Distance and time would be influencing music in a different way because of how technologies are changing that. People will be sharing a large database but also creating their own curatorial “space”. The future of music will sound more and more mixed and hard to identified, but full of sounds that are from the direct experiences of environment around us.

β€’ What is your mission when you create music?

Associating your music with a certain mission is rather pointless. Anyway, neither of us has enough power to make our music able to complete any missions. I create to fulfill my momentary cravings, give vent to obsessions, or maybe soothe emotions – each solo work is in most cases introvertical. If someone else can find a place for themselves in this, it is a huge compliment for me.

β€’ Three sentences describing your work?

The case

Probably invisible cobwebs of links

Finding a home for states that often conflict with each other

β€’ What kind of emotions do you look for the most in music?

Probably no specific, it’s too dependent on the moment. All our obsessions sometimes need to be settled, no matter if they are intellectual or emotional.

β€’ How will the music of the future sound? What will be its new dimension?

I have no idea how it will sound, it’s probably too adventurous and too dependent on the development of the whole unpredictable socio-technological structure to be easily defined. Perhaps we will only listen to AI compositions that are perfectly suited to our tastes. Or maybe it will make us tired enough to return to baroque instruments and a lot of simpler, acoustic sounds? It seems to me that we are moving more and more to the synthesis of one with the other and this is probably the most interesting direction at present – the elimination in the music of barriers between organic and inorganic.

β€’ What is your mission when you create music?

To help people release their fears, insecurities, and rage on the dancefloor and go home smiling.

β€’ How would you describe your work in three sentences?

I work as a release of some sort, just like every other musician. I can’t talk with the people listening to my music but i communicate through itΒ  and help them deal with an aspect their emotions. It may not be as complex but I try to help however I can.

β€’ What kind of emotion are you searching for in music?

I am searching for relief in music

β€’ How the music of the future is going to sound? In what form is it going to be?Β

The music of the future might be a pill, tuned to a specific feeling. People might experience it when they need to feel a certain way, whether pain or healing. It might be so well thought into that doctors might prescribe a dose of a certain song for something like depression for example… maybe.

β€’ What is your mission when you create music?

I’ve always thought about music and about art in general as a separate language that allows me to communicate different things that I can not say. And the mission would be for me just verbalization of anything that is in my head. Also doing something that makes people feel somehow is super interesting and nice.

β€’ Three sentences describing your work?

I would say that my music is characterized by a certain set of sounds and these are rather fuzzy and organic sounds. My work, however, is mysterious to me and I can not describe it very much.

β€’ What kind of emotions do you look for the most in music?

Probably some ecstatic, maybe even in my sadness / grief. Or fragile and impermanent. I am most moved by very short fragments of songs that hide some unexplained magic and these moments I am looking for the most in music.

Β

β€’ How will the music of the future sound? What will be its new dimension?

I have absolutely no idea, I would forecast even more bizarre style fusions, and when the ideas for genres that can be “post” are over, maybe we will return to the classic rock & roll or something like that. It would also be interesting to change the standard of the outfit or, for example, if microtone music entered the mainstream, o!
